Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman Pays Tribute To Late Wife, Daughter In Touching Instagram Posts

His daughter Barbara Katie Chapman was tra-gically ki-lled just one day before his 2006 wedding to late wife Beth Chapman. And Duane ‘Dog the Bounty Hu-nter’ Chapman has honored both women in emotional Instagram posts. The 67-year-old reality TV star captioned Wednesday’s post of Beth, ‘She said Big Daddy your going to be so sad when I am not here on our next anniversary why did she have to be so right ?? ”

It accompanied a photo of Chapman and his late fifth wife, taken at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and surrounded by Willie Nelson memorabilia. The post coi-ncided with what would have been the couple’s 14th wedding anniversary.

Beth passed away on June 26, 2019, as a result of thr-oat canc-er. Barbara Katie was one of Dog’s 12 children, and one of three he shares with third wife Lyssa Rae Brittain. The 23-year-old was ki-lled in a car acc-ident in her native Fairbanks, Alaska on May 19, 2006.

With his wedding to Beth set for the day after his daughter’s loss, the bounty hu-nter and his surv-iving children ‘decided unanimously they should celebrate the wedding and [Barbara Katie’s] life’ despite the tra-gedy, Michael Feeney, senior vice president of A&E television network said at the time.

The Honolulu nuptials were filmed for the couple’s reality TV show. Earlier this month, Dog popped the question to his new girlfriend Francie Frane, just months after they started dating.

The widower got down on one knee at a romantic dinner at their home, with the TV legend telling The Sun he’s so happy he wants to have the ‘biggest wedding there’s ever been,’ open to all his fans, in what he says will be ‘one hell of a party’.

Francie spoke about the moment Dog got down on one knee at their home, where they are self-isolating together. She said: ‘I wasn’t expecting it at all. think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit.

‘So when I came in I was like, “Wow, this is awesome”. Then he said, “Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you”.’So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, “I know that God brought you into my life and I don’t want to spend one moment of it without you”.’
