Mom Reunited With Baby After Stranger Spotted The Child Crawling Into “Busy Road” – Video

A mother was reunited with her baby after it almost cra*led into a ‘busy road’. Michael Currid, from Canterbury, was enjoying a day out at a beach in Dymchurch, Kent, with his partner Lex Hartop, when they spo-tted a baby at the top of some stairs heading away from the sand and towards a road.

In a video posted to his TikTok account on 7 June, Michael can be seen holding the child, who is only wearing a nappy, and searching for their parents.

At first, the 32-year-old asks a man nearby if the baby is his, but gets a nega!ive response. He then continues to look around to see if he can spot the parents.

Michael is then seen speaking to a group of people who were also concerned that the baby was on their own.

As he continues his search, Michael is finally approached by a woman on her phone, who holds out an arm to collect the baby.

Appearing not to even a!knowledge Michael, she takes the baby and walks off, kicking a ball and continuing her phone conversation.

In the clip, Michael is visibly sho*ked by the encounter. Off camera, Lex can be heard asking: “Is she joking?” as Michael runs back up the stairs.

Since it was uploaded, the video has been viewed over 1.5 million times, leaving many social media users enra-ged.

One viewer said: “The way she doesn’t even thank the guy and continues on the phone, even ki*ks the ball.”

Another wrote: “So she really just didn’t care? Wasn’t wo**ed. Not grateful. Wow.”

A third added: “Lucky the baby climbed the stairs and not into the damn sea lol.”

While another said: “Nope going straight to authorities as parents weren’t scr**ming or looking…they are extremely lucky. These gu-ys are angels.”

Speaking about the incident, Lex said he and Michael were utterly sho*ked by the mum’s reaction, or lack of.

He said: “Michael and I were walking down the side of the beach when we noticed a baby cr**ling up some steps.

“The baby crawled up the second flight of concrete steps that lead from the beach to a busy road.

“The baby must have crawled a long way and was either ign-ored or not noticed by anybody.

“From noticing the baby to returning her to her mother was all-around five minutes.

“We believe it was a girl. The baby said ‘mum’ upon seeing their mother turn round from a distance.

“The mother said nothing as Michael gave her back.

“We were sho*ked by what happened, and wanted to share it with our friends and family.

“We didn’t expect it to blow up as much as it has.”
